2016 may have been a terrible year for politics, Remain voters, minorities, women and fans of pop culture celebrities, but at least it’s been a good book year. Here’s a little gallery of my top 10 reads for 2016. If you haven’t read these brilliant books, might be worth putting on your reading list for the new year!
And, here’s a little snapshot of the first book I’ll be reading in 2017:
Ooohhhh some excellent picks here! I absolutely lived Radio Silence

Hi 🙂 I like your choices, they are largely corresponding with books i have read. Have you already started with Americanah? It is one of my favourite books but i have never met anyone who has read it or who i could get to read it., so i would really love to read your opinion about it.

Hi! Thank you 🙂 No not yet, I sort of lied and ended up starting ‘The buried Giant’ by Kashuo Ishiguro instead :p However I have read ‘half of a yellow sun’ by Adichie already so I know she’s an incredible writer. Great to meet another fan of her, I will certainly post a review once I’m done with it 🙂

I feel ashamed that I haven’t read any of the titles you featured on this list, but nearly half are on my TBR list. I’m glad you enjoyed so many books this year though (because, agreed, some of us needed an escape from reality). Anyway, to more good reading in 2017. Cheers!
